Midyear Book Freakout Tag (2026)

Originally, I had 50 books on my reading challenge, but I’ve cut that list in half because I’ve been having a bit of a creative renaissance after starting The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. That took up a lot of my time in the first half of the year. I am going to read a lot more during the last half of the year. This book is a detailed life arc of Verity’s story as it intertwines with her own love story with Monk. Both Verity and Monk meet in college and the stars are aligned, but Verity unexpectedly experiences mental and emotional struggles that prevent them from being together.
